About Sultana Khan

Sultana is an experienced osteopath who qualified from the British School of Osteopathy(BSO) in London in 1992. After 4 years on the intense but rewarding full time course with over 1000 hours clinical experience she graduated with a BSc. OST.

At the BSO, she was taught both the traditional manipulation and cranial approaches to osteopathy. She was fascinated by the cranial approach as a potential for change and healing. She has done several postgraduate qualifications with the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy and has taught on a number of their postgraduate courses.

One of Sultana’s passion is treating babies and children.

While working at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) in London, she witnessed how osteopathy can transform the health of children musculoskeletally and help with other wide ranging issues at different stages of growth and development.

She has also trained as a craniosacral therapist at the Karuna Institute under Franklin Sills. This has further

helped her understand and consolidate the relationship between her, the patient and the cranial work

Since graduating , Sultana has worked with many gifted and skilled osteopaths including Sue Turner in London and Stuart Korth in Kent. She enjoys seeing her patients in Bath and teaching the next generation of osteopaths.

She is married with two teenage girls and lives near Bath. When not working she enjoys swimming, cycling and her garden which gives her great joy.

Osteopathy has been constantly evolving for Sultana over the 30 years since she qualified. It continues to provide her with those ‘aha' moments in which she is blown away by what she feels is the sheer genius of it all eg. when a patient who's had dizziness for 6 years improves after two treatments. Or when a toddler who has delayed milestones in standing and walking starts to do these things after a few treatments.

She has extensive experience of treating patients with short term and longstanding issues and enjoys the challenge of helping people move forwards.
